Entertainment Business Portfolio

I am in The Entertainment Business Bachelors Degree Program. I was guided in completing my first Project and Portfolio course. As, a part of rebranding myself, I was taught about my online presence and the importance of being professional, and relevant, and that I needed a rebrand myself to what I want to be known for. I learned PowerPoint and the principles and proper way to write my blog. It is all a part of marketing myself online, as I build my brand up. I invite you to watch this video to learn why you should consider bringing me aboard your company.
Project & Portfolio 1: Personal Branding
Overview & Objective
In this course, students explore, build, and assess their professional brand identity, points of differentiation, and areas of expertise to highlight online. Students create a digital portfolio website to serve as the foundation for all portfolio pieces throughout the program. By the end of the course, students have a digital platform to showcase their future work and continually enhance their appeal to future employers and industry professionals.
What I Learned
I discovered and defined my personal brand by researching my industry's marketplace, competition, and job qualifications. I highlighted skillsets that need improvement and developed a robust professional development campaign to address the skill gaps identified. I established a brand promise and position based on my target audience and wrote an elevator pitch to help me clearly and concisely communicate my unique promise of value.
Skills & Software
To develop this presentation, I used Keynote and exported the file as a PDF to SlideShare for the public to view. I used research tools like LinkedIn, OnetOnline, ZipRecruiter, and Glassdoor for job hunting reconnaissance purposes.
